Leyland Trucks operates from one of Europe’s most advanced truck assembly facilities, the Leyland Assembly Plant in Lancashire.
Employing approximately 1,300 people, we manufacture the full range of DAF product, exporting around 40% worldwide. We also design the XB truck, with a team of skilled engineers working from our cutting edge site.
Leyland Trucks continues to support DAF’s excellent 29 years of consecutive UK market leadership.
In 2021, we celebrated our 125 year anniversary of truck building and delivered the 500,000th vehicle to be built from our current facility.
