The Lebanese and International Arbitration Center of the Beirut Bar Association (LIAC-BBA) is an independent arbitration body providing efficient dispute resolution services for domestic and international cases.
While part of the Beirut Bar Association, it operates autonomously under its own regulations, ensuring neutrality and adherence to modern arbitration standards.
LIAC-BBA enhances accessibility and efficiency by integrating digital tools such as virtual hearings and electronic notifications. Additionally, it serves as an appointing authority, reinforcing its role in advancing arbitration and alternative dispute resolution in Lebanon and beyond.
Professor Najib Hage-Chahine currently serves as the Director of LIAC-BBA. Appointed by the President of the Beirut Bar Association for a renewable five-year term, he is responsible for managing the Center’s daily affairs and representing it before official and private entities.
