A 501-C non-profit dedicated to improving the quality of life for those living with Alzheimer's disease & related dementia, and their caregivers. Based in Westbury, the Long Island Alzheimer’s & Dementia Center's goal is to make a positive difference in the lives of those impacted by Alzheimer’s disease and related forms of dementia — one person, one family, one community at a time. We offer a full range of caregiver services along with safe, structured and engaging programs for diagnosed individuals. Services include stage-specific day programs Monday - Saturday, support groups, educational trainings, in-home respite program, door-to-door transportation, & much more. For over 30 years, the Long Island Alzheimer’s & Dementia Center has believed that until there is a cure, we are the best solution to find hope and support.
