Libanlait S.A.L. is one of the leading Lebanese companies in the dairy business. The company’s main business is the production and distribution of dairy products in Lebanon. It has a franchise agreement with Candia France, allowing it to distribute and manufacture products under Candia brand name.
The project spreads over an area of 504, 000 sqm in the Bekaa Valley. It includes a farm, a fully automated processing plant and a wide distribution network.
Libanlait is the first dairy company that owns a modern farm; it comprises a milking parlor, nursery/hospital. Around 2,500 Holstein cows live in a healthy and ultra hygienic environment nurtured by expert veterinarians in order to produce quality milk that’s supplied to the processing plant.
Libanlait is proud to mention that it produces a milk with < 5,000 germs/100ml which makes the milk quality the best you can get. It is also the only manufacturer that produces according to LIBNOR and international norms, and does not use any preservatives in its products.
Libanlait’s processing plant is a state-of-the-art facility with fully automated production and packaging lines, and a quality department that controls the milk 25 times from reception to its finished form.
At the plant, the milk is received and channeled through the different production lines. A team of experts makes sure that all quality procedures are implemented during all stages of production and packaging.
Libanlait has the most advanced technology in the dairy sector and especially it is the first dairy company in Lebanon to introduce the following:
• The long life milk (UHT),
• The Labneh 0% fat which proved a very successful product,
• The flavored yogurts,
• The first Feta cheese in Tetra packaging.
