Our flares/tips can achieve a 99.5%
destruction rate efficiency which exceeds
the EPA's 98.5% requirement under
Quad-O and 40 CFR 60:18. Meaning,
our flare equipment is destroying 99.5%
of the volatile organic compounds and
hydrocarbons that are being combusted
at the tip. Only .05% of those
compounds, comprised of nitrogen oxide
(NOx) and carbon dioxide (Co2) are
being released into the atmosphere,
which the EPA watches closely. At the
present time, there are no other known
flare designs that can achieve this goal.
