LIBRA deals with environmental surveys through the use of Remote Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPSA), more commonly called drones. Founded in 2018, it’s a young company, but it can boast energetic and innovative partners and already a rich portfolio. The use of drones for environmental surveys is recent, but has undergone a very rapid development overcoming the traditional methods of investigation thanks to the versatility of the tool, the non-invasiveness of the method, the replicability of the procedures, the safety of the operations that can be carried out. even in areas that are not easily accessible. In our case, the drone is intended as a tripod to carry sensors with different characteristics according to the application type, in order to quickly reach places that are difficult to access, in total safety. The sectors where we have a proven competence are many: from the buildings energetic-structural evaluation with thermographic sensor, to the inspections of infrastructures, viaducts, dams, plants and power lines, from precision agriculture to artistic filming for the enhancement of cultural heritage and landscaping, up to aerial photogrammetry for the creation of 3D models. Our team is interdisciplinary, a geologist and a pilot with pilot licenses in critical areas and at high altitude, which allows us to apply ourselves in different fields. We also make use of professionals and external collaborators who integrate the services offered by Libra with additional skills.
