Our current mission is the conservation and thoughtful revival of Baltersan Castle, a stunning 16th-century L-shaped tower house in southwest Scotland. Baltersan Castle, located near Maybole and close to the historic Crossraguel Abbey, is a captivating symbol of Scotland’s storied history. Although it has stood roofless and abandoned since the mid-18th century, its architecture and legacy remain a source of inspiration. By preserving Baltersan Castle, we aim to create a space that honours its storied past while engaging the local community in its future.
