Liège Game Lab

Founded in 2016, the Liège Game Lab is a belgian collective dedicated to video game research, education, and popularization at the University of Liège, with the status of research center for the “Traverses” transdisciplinary research unit (Philosophy and Letters). We provide five aca courses dedicated to video games, four of which are included in the first university course entirely devoted to the use of video game culture in the socio-cultural field of Belgium. We organize a variety of international scientific events, mobilizing our expertise for exhibitions and workshops as well as training and consultancy for projects involving the development of applications, traditional or virtual reality video games, and activities involving digital mediation.
