Life 101.9 (KNWS-FM) is a listener-supported Christian radio station and ministry outreach of the University of Northwestern – St. Paul. Since 1965, we’ve been sharing God’s love through uplifting music and Christ-centered content across Eastern Iowa and beyond. With a 100,000-watt signal and additional translators in Dubuque and Marshalltown, we reach approximately 80,000 listeners weekly—making us one of the region’s largest Christian radio stations. Our mission is to lead people to Christ and encourage believers in their faith journey through positive, hope-filled media.
