LIFE CLOOVER²

The European LIFE Program for Environment and Climate Action, one of the key instruments of the European Green Deal, aims to protect the health and well-being of citizens from risks and impacts related to the Environment and Climate. In its 2022 Grants Announcement, the European LIFE Program received more tan 300 projects from all over Europe, of which only 28% of the projects submitted from Spain achieved the approval of the EU Comission. LIFE CLOOVER² obtained it. The LIFE CLOOVER² Project 2023-2026, Closed-LOOps VERification of Reused and Recycled polyolefins drums, jerricans & crates, aims to implement closed, reused and recycling loops for industrial packaging (drums and jerricans) and commercial packaging (fruit and vegetables crates) of polyolefins, in accordance with the Food Safety criteria of the EFSA, European Food Safety Authority.
