LIFE for Minuartia

Life for Minuartia is acronym of project „The rescue of endemic priority plant species Minuartia smejkalii“ financed by European Union and co-financed by Ministry of Environment (MoE) of the Czech Republic and Institute of Botany of the Czech Academy of Sciences (IBOT)with reference No. LIFE 15 NAT/CZIOOO8l8. Revitalization of natural sites 2. Establishment of self-sustainable ex-situ conservation for plant reintroduction. 3. Direct enhancement of particular population size in the nature (Želivka SCI) by sowing of seeds and plant transplantation. 4. Prevention of vandalism and plant collection 5. Enhancement of awareness about serpentine phenomenon and NATURA 2000 and dissemination of results on local as well as EU level.
