PROJECT TITLE: SUstainability and PERformances for HEROTILE-based energy efficient roofs START DATE: 01/07/2020 END DATE: 30/06/2025 TOPIC: Climate Change Adaptation SECTOR: Urban adaptation/planning EU CONTRIBUTION: 1,563,160 Euro LIFE-HEROTILE aims to improve the energy behavior of the buildings through the development of innovative types of roof tiles able to increase their underlay ventilation. Thanks to technologies and systems suitable for being replicated, transferred or mainstreamed, the project will contribute therefore to the development and implementation of energy savings approaches, mainly in the Mediterranean Region, and to climate change mitigation.
