Life Ed. SA

Life Ed. SA is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to empowering children and young people to make safer and healthier choices so they can live happier lives. Working in schools, we engage children in age-appropriate discussions on topics such as healthy lifestyles; good nutrition; exercise; respectful relationships; alcohol, drugs, smoking; and online safety. Life Ed. SA also provides support to parents, teachers, and broader school communities through a strength-based approach that fosters health and wellbeing networks and pathways. Reaching out to regional, disadvantaged and vulnerable communities is our priority focus, and ensures that all children have an equal opportunity to benefit from our programs. This is of particular importance due to the rising concerns of issues such as mental illness, childhood trauma, suicidality, bullying, dietary issues, sedentary lifestyles and obesity, alongside environmental challenges such as the global pandemic, economic downturn and other community crises.
