Het LIFE NEW HYTS project wil de juiste voorwaarden scheppen voor een snelle introductie van op groene waterstof rijdende zware bedrijfsvoertuigen. Het project is een unieke samenwerking locale ondernemers, kennisinstellingen en overheden. Het wordt uitgevoerd door KWR Water Research Institute, provincie Utrecht, Hysolar, Stamhuis en Jos Scholman Beheer B. V.
LIFE NEW HYTS toont de mogelijkheden en haalbaarheid voor de lokale productie, distributie en toepassing van groene waterstof in het wegvervoer.
LIFE NEW HYTS staat voor reNEWable green HYdrogen for TranSPORT en ontvangt financiering van het LIFE Programma van de Europese Unie.
