LIFE Open Woods har til formål at skabe mere åbne og dynamiske skove til gavn for biodiversiteten. Ved at anvende forskellige konverteringsmetoder etableres et udgangspunkt for udvikling af naturlig dynamik i tidligere monokulturelle, ensaldrende løvskove i Danmark og Nordtyskland. Projektet støttes af EU programmet LIFE+.
LIFE Open Woods aims to create more open and dynamic forests for the benefit of biodiversity. By using different conversion methods, a starting point is established for the development of natural dynamics in former monocultural, even-aged deciduous forests in Denmark and Northern Germany. The project is supported by the EU program LIFE+.
