In 2009, the ROMero-SaLAS siblings had the vision and advocacy of bringing global best practices in health care and wellness to the Philippines, making them more accessible to Filipinos and elevating the standard of care. Their vision materialized when ROMLAS Health Group (RHG) launched its first company—the Center for Health and Wellness, known as LifeScience Center (LSC). LSC opened its doors in 2010, and continues to advance the health of Filipinos through Functional Medicine and advanced diagnostics up to this present day.
Companies currently under RHG include LSC as its center for health and wellness, LifeScience Institute (LSI) as its research, education, and training arm, Global Medical Technologies (GMT) as the medical solutions provider, Skin+Nutrition (S+N) as its FM-focused skin clinic, and Neuro-fit as its studio for improvement of brain performance.
In 2020, the pandemic outbreak challenged RHG to provide our government turnkey solutions to help address the rising COVID cases in the country. RHG’s environmental health division, known as BTRIP, brought in COVID test kits from the States and built Modular Container Labs to increase the capacity and expedite the process of COVID-19 testing. Until today, BTRIP works closely with IATF to address outbreaks that are present in the Philippines.
RHG has branched out to various health sectors addressing multiple aspects of human health. Nevertheless, the founders are keen on striving more and are working towards propelling RHG to greater heights. As a catalyst and incubator of global best practices in health and wellness, RHG is set to spearhead a health and wellness revolution in the country: to make the Philippines a HEALTH AND WELLNESS DESTINATION in Southeast Asia and internationally.
