LifeUnleashed by Integra Service Dogs Australia is a registered Australian charity. Our Mission is to transform the lives of Veterans and First Responders living with PTSD, caused by trauma during service, through the healing power of Service Dogs. LifeUnleashed has been successfully operating since 2016. We are a national provider, delivering Assistant Dog services in most states and territories, and have efficiently matched and placed more than one hundred (157) high quality Labrador dogs with Veterans and First Responders. Our Labrador dogs have been sourced from our established partnerships with organisations such as: Guide Dogs Victoria, Australian Border Force Detection Dog Program, Seeing Eye Dogs Vision Australia and private registered breeders. The bond created through each team is life changing. Our Program teaches our dogs to become emotionally tuned to their Veteran or First Responder and their unique triggers. Our dogs are able to ground their handler from a hyper-aroused state and provide unconditional support through the trauma and stresses of everyday life. LifeUnleashed is proud to have Her Excellency, the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, the Governor General Australia as our Patron. Her Excellency is a strong supporter of our work and maintains a keen interest in the ongoing support we provide to Veterans and First Responders.
