Remedial Services
Counselors provide skill-building services that help reduce or end problem behaviors. Counselors assist children in learning age appropriate ways to manage their behavior.
Remedial Services are action-oriented services in which a child and their family work with the provider and demonstrate the skills being taught. Interventions focus on Conflict resolution, Problem solving, social skills, Relationship skills, and Communication. Services can be provided in client’s residence, the community or the office.
Children’s Mental Health (Waiver Services)
A licensed professional (master’s degree) provides services to children with serious emotional disturbances. These services include in-home family therapy
