LifeWorks For Autism

Located in Bowling Green, Kentucky, LifeWorks For Autism is a not-for-profit, two-year certificate program designed to prepare autistic young adults for successful transition to work and independent living. According to the Centers for Disease Control, there are 1 in 36 individuals diagnosed on the autism spectrum. At age 21, special education services cease to be a mandatory provision resulting in individuals falling off the proverbial "service cliff." LifeWorks bridges the gap between public special education services and successful independence. The primary focus of LifeWorks is to facilitate a supportive learning environment that empowers individuals to realize their full potential and successfully transition to leading a life of independence, self-direction, employment, and inclusion.
