About Light for the less privileged foundation
Light for the Less Privileged Foundation (LLPF), formerly known as Light for the People NGO, is a nonprofit organization founded in 2020 with the mission of shining a light on every life. Since our first project in 2021, we have been committed to fighting poverty, hunger, and illiteracy among vulnerable populations across Nigeria. LLPF designs and delivers impactful programs that support children, youth, women, and families by improving access to food, education, healthcare, and essential resources. Our initiatives align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), and SDG 4 (Quality Education). With a strong network of volunteers, donors, and partners, we believe that by shining a light on every life, we can create lasting change and brighter futures for the less privileged. Join us as we work together to make a difference, one life at a time. Mission Statement To empower vulnerable communities by providing access to food, quality education, healthcare, and essential resources, working passionately to fight poverty, hunger, and illiteracy — shining a light on every life and creating pathways for a brighter, more equitable future. Vision Statement To build a world where every less privileged person has the opportunity to live with dignity, access basic needs, and reach their full potential, supported by a global community united in the fight against poverty, hunger, and illiteracy. lightforthelessprivilegedfound@gmail.com
