Dear Sirs, The goal of my work is to convey emotions evoked by gemstones, jewelry and art objects. My experience in photography is more than 25 years, the first half of which I was in magazine photography. For the past 15 years, I have been doing what I call "Jewelry Portraits", i.e., shoots with special attention to the gems cut and jewelry texture. I am fanatically in love with my profession, I am an innovator and in many ways a pioneer. 15 years ago I developed a hardware and software system capable of shooting spectacular macro video footage of jewelry. I also use a unique lighting system for shooting precious stones. Whilst using the most up-to-date digital equipment, I retains a firm belief in applying this technology only to enhance the image, leaving as much as possible to be created ‘in camera’.
