Light Metals Research Centre (LMRC) operates a highly mobile research and multi-disciplinary team, who are ready to provide on-site technical support & analytical services anywhere around the world.
The centre developed ground-breaking technologies for the aluminium industry such as Sidewall Heat exchangers (EnPot) that allows aluminium smelter to modulate power consumption. A supervisory control software (Gen3) that can improve productivity and reduce power consumption of aluminium smelters.
The research centre provide technical support on/off site for smelters to improve thier performance , and training in all levels from shift workers to engineers and managers.
