lightdespite Counselling & Career Coaching in Fitzroy/Ngar-go offers professional, accredited mental health counselling services for women of all ages. We support clients to deal with the inescapable challenges of life - the unknowns, the curve-balls…all the hard things. This can look like tackling anxiety and worry, navigating tricky relationship and work challenges, working through different life ages and stages, and understanding more about who we really are, what’s important to us and how we live a life aligned with our values. Using a client-centred and strengths-based approach, we tailor interventions to suit each individual's needs and preferences. Our approach is a mixtape of therapies, using frameworks like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, and mindfulness. We also offer career and leadership coaching—we get a kick out of helping clients be better leaders, build purposeful and meaningful careers, and understand their unique strengths and how to apply them at work.
