Founded in 2004 by a small, passionate group in Logan, Lighthouse Care has grown from humble beginnings into a well-established non-profit known for its $25 trolleys, free, and discounted groceries. What started with a van delivering bread has expanded into a comprehensive community service operation. After initially running from a home in Eagleby, Lighthouse Care found a permanent location in 2009, allowing it to meet the growing demand.
Today, Lighthouse Care assists 80,000 families annually through its physical stores in Loganholme and Hillcrest and an online store offering click-and-collect and home delivery services across most of South East Queensland.
