At Lighting Design International we bring together a creative and intelligent approach to lighting design with an understanding of the complex technical requirements. We bridge the gap between architect and electrical engineer. Independent of all manufacturers, our sole focus is on achieving the most creative lighting solutions for our clients - in terms of aesthetics, function, flexibility, maintenance and cost. We employ people from different backgrounds including architectural, theatrical, product and environmental design as well as electrical engineering. Sometimes we work directly for the client, sometimes for the appointed architect or interior designer. Established in 1986, we have worked on a wide variety of projects in the UK and worldwide. At Lighting Design International, our philosophy is to bring out the best in every design with our creative and practical approach to lighting, whether contemporary or traditional. It is essential that the appropriate atmosphere is achieved that is both practical on one hand and attractive on the other. All our design solutions are individual and effective.
