Lightning Fish are a video games developer specialising in family-oriented titles and were formed in June 2008 by Simon Prytherch, Mike Montgomery and David Hunt; some of the most experienced names in the business. We develop games for Sony PlayStation 3, Microsoft Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Microsoft Windows and smart phones.
Lightning Fish are based in Banbury, Oxfordshire where we employ a talented team of producers, programmers, designers and artists. We are a new company but our teams have released over a hundred games and sold tens of millions of units. Previously to joining Lightning Fish our team members have worked with the following high profile companies: Codemasters, Kuju, Black Bean Games, Milestone, Empire Interactive, Microsoft, The Bitmap Brothers, Renegade Software, Virgin Games, Sega Amusements, Namco, Atari, Taito, Interplay, Hasbro and Vivendi.
Lightning Fish have a core philosophy to only work with the best and we therefore have small but highly-motivated teams. We balance this by also using scalable external development with our trusted outsourcing partners and contractors.
