We are a stand alone small business specializing in the manufacturing of Lightning Nuggets® and Lightnin’ Bugs® Lil' Nuggets the original solid fuel firestarters. We take great pride in our products and packaging, offering performance and recognition of the highest standards. Lightning Nuggets, Inc. has the philosophy to offer only a product of environmental enhancements and consumer satisfactions. The Lightning Nuggets, Inc. Product line has proudly been toxin free and made in the USA since 1978! Our fire starters are made from renewable pine wood resource and food grade fully refined paraffin wax (no oils remain so as to be non -toxic). Both raw materials can then be considered environmentally friendly. When wax is fully refined it is safe to use when preserving fruits/veggies, within food products, within cosmetics, etc. Our goal is to be as safe and clean while recycling waste into a viable repurposed product of convenience and quality. The study of burning patterns encouraged the round shape. Temperature will reach 480 degrees, Flame size 8+ inches, and Burn time at least 15 minutes The Lightning Nugget® thus became the all around most versatile and applicable way to start any fire in any season.
