LIGHTORIGIN STUDIO

LIGHTORIGIN STUDIO is an independent lighting design and consultancy studio based in Hong Kong, specialising in creative and artistic bespoke architectural lighting design for commercial, residential and hospitality. We illuminate and enhance architectural spaces with the play of light and shadow. Our design ethos is founded on the principle of balance; our approach is user-centric, ensuring equal focus on utility and aesthetic, as well as daylight and artificial lighting. We believe strongly in designing with health and sustainability in mind; environmental and human circadian factors. Rather than using artificial light as a feature in itself, we focus on intertwining natural and artificial light to best complement the architecture - a practice which is fundamentally sustainable as it aims to reduce the volume of artificial light sources and expended energy, instead of increasing lighting fixtures for the sake of feature. We work closely with architects and interior designers to illuminate and enhance their design, create an environment that evokes emotion, and to bring their visions to life from concept to completion.
