Lights Camera Cure is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Los Angeles. The mission of Lights Camera Cure is (1) to provide support to pediatric cancer patients and their families and (2) to promote pediatric cancer research and awareness. To achieve its purpose, LCC will undertake charitable activities including community based fundraising events and service projects.
Lights Camera Cure produces The Hollywood Dance Marathon, a benefit to fight pediatric cancer. The Hollywood Dance Marathon is the first and only city-wide dance marathon in Los Angeles. This 6-hour, high-energy fundraiser features supporters who sign up to dance and raise money from family and friends, similar to the various cancer walks. The event also includes non-stop entertainment (bands, musical performers, DJ's, dance groups), celebrities and VIP's on the Red Carpet, a silent auction, and more. The 5th Annual Hollywood Dance Marathon is scheduled for April 2, 2016.
