LIGHTSPECTRO™ uses patented technology to make personal safety lights and accessories for multisport use, and a variety of other activities. As daylight fades to darkness our vision changes and becomes much more sensitive to blue and green light. Traditional taillights and many safety lights are red. And as our vision shifts from Photopic (daylight) to Mescopic (twilight) and Scotopic (night), we perceive red light with much lower apparent intensity than other colors in the spectrum. Additionally, red light fades into the background in urban settings. We applied this knowledge and principles of human vision, as well as our innate ability to notice changes with our peripheral vision, to the design of SpectraFLUX™. SpectraFLUX™ is an ultra-bright multicolor safety light for cycling, running, walking, kayaking, skiing, riding a scooter, and more. It’s wearable or can be clipped-on or mounted to a helmet, bike, or other objects. It’s all-weather and USB-C rechargeable with 12 ever-changing colors from across the full visible spectrum, making it highly visible in any environment. There are 8 settings including Taillight & Headlight and other Daylight Visible modes. Get lit and be seen! Visibility is NOT All About the Lumens – Of equal or perhaps greater importance is choosing colors that are perceived strongly in different ambient lighting conditions. SpectraFLUX™ has 6 high-power RGB LEDs that emit up to 250 lumens of different colored light. In addition, there are 8 bright red LEDs that frame the light and compound the intensity when the RGB LEDs are emitting red light, or in several modes flash between colors to garner more visual attention. Other RGB safety/anti-collision lights on the market use small button or decorative accent LEDs that emit significantly less light.
