LIICHT a l’ambition de ramener la recherche, l’innovation et la production des LEDs en Europe, alors qu’elle est aujourd’hui essentiellement un monopole asiatique.
LIICHT s’est fixé deux objectifs : « consommer moins pour éclairer mieux » et « utiliser mieux pour dépenser moins ». Si le premier défi vise à constamment innover dans les produits d’éclairage avec une technologie innovante sur les LEDS et une approche basée sur le coût de possession (et non le coût d’acquisition uniquement), le deuxième est basé sur les études optimisant les technologies de l’information et de l’intégration des fonctions.
Le projet LIICHT vise à agréger un grand nombre d’acteurs (communes, euro métropoles, conseils départementaux ou régionaux) autour d’une ambition, d’un projet, d’une méthode pour obtenir un éclairage public intelligent et vertueux : performance, économie, polyvalence, création de valeurs.
