Conventional construction practices are not sustainable and contribute to climate change. Concrete alone contributes to 8% of CO2 emissions in the atmosphere.
There is a lack of access to skilled labour in the sustainable building industry which is a leading cause for high costs of sustainable building practices. The dwindling population of sustainable artisans in India is one of the biggest hurdles in the sustainable building industry. Moreover, lack of awareness on local building needs and sustainability among Architects, Engineers, Builders, Developers, Contractors and Owners is a matter of concern.
We aim to to catalyze the sustainable/ green building movement in India by training and building Artisans and Communities.
We engage in Training and Workshops for Artisans, Architects, Engineers and Project managers in Participatory Sustainable design and building practices.
We are involved in Sustainable construction practices like sustainable interiors, sustainable architecture, sustainable landscaping and sustainable products.
We bring together a community that believes in sustainable and conscious construction practices to limit the carbon emission occurring due to the construction industry.
