Limedion is specialized in coating deposition techniques and surface analysis. We have a strong focus on medical technology, corrosion and wear protection and transparent optical coatings. Surface analytics methods incude scanning electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), profilometric measurements and Fourier-transpormed infrared spectroscopy. Our main coating technologies include ion beam assisted PVD, plasma enhanced CVD (PECVD) and sol-gel methods. The deposition parameters will be optimized for the client substrate in terms of adhesion, wear or thickness to achieve a perfect coating performance. Wea are located in Mannheim, Germany.
