The Limerick Lions basketball club is home to Limerick's, semi-professional, Nivea for Men SuperLeague team. The club is run by volunteers and, as well as the Superleague team, houses underage teams from boys age 8 right up to an under 18's squad plus a Development team which is made up of players working to make the top team or older players who have retired from semi professional basketball, etc.
