LimeStrong is an independently funded initiative coordinating the global social media awareness campaign for International Scurvy Awareness Day, an event that occurs annually on May 2nd of each year and celebrated worldwide. Our goal is simple: Leverage social media and humor to raise awareness that Scurvy still exists, with the goal of eradicating what may possibly be the most easily prevented disease in Human history: Scurvy.
