Liminal Vision

LIMINAL.VISION is an interdisciplinary research practice by Victor Evink (s x m b r a) and Emilia Tapprest (nvisible.studio). We explore implications of rapid technocultural developments through speculative worldbuilding and immersive media. Grounded in the emerging research field on affect and its use through datafication, we unpack the design process behind affective atmospheres by forward-engineering them from a critical perspective. Our goal is to contribute to public discourse on emerging technological conditions in the context of the 21st century's converging challenges.
