Limu ArchLab

Limu Arch Lab was established in Shanghai in 2020. Our designers have studied and worked in the United States, Japan, Hong Kong, and Australia, and have years of experience working in international and domestic architectural firms. The founder and chief designers previously worked at Arata Isozaki & Associates, David Chipperfield Architects, and WeWork China. In the early stages of the studio's establishment, Limu positioned itself as an architectural design research studio, hoping to absorb theories, ideas, and design methods from various places, and return to the roots of China. We aim to explore every design proposition we face using the language of architecture. Our goal is to create sensory spaces that belong to contemporary China and embody the spiritual characteristics of the new era after the frenzy of construction in the 21st century has subsided.
