At Lingua Verna (meaning “vernacular language”), we believe that spoken dialects are a powerful tool for breaking down cultural barriers and fostering genuine human connections. Our focus is on Levantine Arabic, the dialect spoken in Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, and Jordan. We primarily serve members of the North American and European diaspora communities and their non-Arab partners who seek high-quality, affordable, and enjoyable resources to learn Arabic effectively. We are equally committed to making a positive impact. Our team comprises talented individuals who are either refugees resettled in Western countries or living in areas of economic hardship and political instability in the Middle East. By offering living wages to our employees and contractors, we ensure that our mission supports not only language learners but also the communities we serve.
