LINK has been a trusted community services provider for more than 40 years and has helped thousands of Melbournians live a better life and remain independent. LINK has recently added some new services, and our full offering now includes: COMMUNITY TRANSPORT LINK mobility services help people with transport difficulties to get out and about and remain connected to their loved ones and their community. We help people get to a range of destinations including: social outings, cultural clubs, shopping, health appointments, and friends and family visits to name a few. Trips start from $5. ASSISTED SHOPPING LINK helps clients every step of the way, including door-to-door transport, help while shopping, at checkout and loading/offloading groceries. Our program is available fortnightly and only costs $10. DOMESTIC ASSISTANCE LINK offers home help for the elderly in the northern and western suburbs of Melbourne. It includes household tasks such as cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, window washing and laundry and helps people stay at home and remain independent. Prices start from A$8.50 per hour and bookings are in 2-hour blocks. SENIOR SOCIAL OUTINGS LINK’s Social Outings Program is a wonderful way to get out and about, meet new friends and enjoy different outings at an affordable price. We offer social outings for every taste including: • Big coach trips to tourist destinations such as Sky High and Daylesford. • Shopping at large centres, markets and small antique shops • Shows and performances for art lovers • Historical estates for those wanting to step back in time • Cafes and restaurants for foodies • Parks and reserves for nature lovers
