Link Education And Practice

LEAP (Link Education And Practice) is a Romanian organisation designed to support the active involvement of students in non-formal education practices as a means of complementing regular forms of education. LEAP acts as a link between stakeholders: young people, educational institutions and employers, promoting non-formal education and its advantages for young people in regards to their employability. We aim towards promoting non–formal education for personal and professional development and bringing together all the stakeholders in the field of education; students, academics, authorities, companies and NGOs to recognize the role that non-formal education plays in shaping young people on the road towards employability – having clear competences that can be put to use. LEAP members are students or young professionals, former members of student organisations, experienced in non-formal education activities, from being volunteers to being interns or participants to training courses, getting to know firsthand how important non-formal education is.
