Le Yacht Club de La Grande Motte créé en 1967 à l'occasion de l'inauguration du port de La Grande Motte, est le premier club d'Occitanie, l’un des clubs les plus actifs en Méditerranée.
L’expérience, le palmarès du club, associé au dynamisme de son encadrement et à l’appui de la ville de La Grande Motte, ont permis de développer les activités nautiques à La Grande Motte et d’organiser de grands événements sportifs liés à la pratique de la voile.
