SOAS Law Society

The aim of the SOAS Law Society is to ensure that SOAS students (law and non-law) have the opportunity to learn about the study of law. The Society fosters legal awareness by publishing relevant articles, organising intercollegiate exchanges, and encouraging engagement between students and our alumni community. The SOAS Law Society is a representative body. The Committee Members are elected annually by its members. The Committee is responsible for working under the rules of the Law Society's written Constitution and are contractually bound to uphold the SOAS Student Union's commitment to diversity and inclusion.
