Lintel Trust is an independent Scottish Incorporated Charitable Organisation (SCIO), working closely with SPA (Scottish Procurement Alliance) as part of the wider LHC Procurement Group.
We have delivered a charitable fund management service to SPA since 2017, and have further developed a social value and community benefits advisory service to help housing associations and the contractors that work with them get best value from procurement of goods and services.
Originally established by SFHA (Scottish Federation of Housing Associations), we have supported Scottish housing associations and their communities since 1979 through grant funding, information sharing and involvement in the issues facing social housing providers and the people who live in their communities.
We aim to tackle inequality and empower communities to thrive and people to participate. We operate an independent small grant scheme which aims to help grassroots projects led by local people. We also run projects encouraging community participation, community led environmental action and tackling issues relevant to social housing residents and providers.
We have a keen interest in supporting housing associations evidence their social value and promote and celebrate the many ways they serve and support their communities.
