Lipco was formed in 1980 in Dorset and provides a highly skilled precision engineering and treatments service to Tier One companies within Aerospace, Automotive, Commercial, Defence, Motorsports, Oil and Gas and Rail industry sectors. We have a dynamic corporate structure and an effective management team working in an innovative environment.
Our capabilities include,
CNC Milling (3, 4 and 5 axis),
CNC Turning including 5 axis Mill/Turn;
CNC Grinding, welding, assembly and test; CAD / CAM offline programming directly from your models and design for manufacture consultancy to reduce your costs.
We can offer the following Surface treatments:
Sulphuric Anodise - Nickelfluoride seal (Cold Seal), Hot water seal, Nickel Acetate seal, Sodium Dichromate Seal and No Seal, also available with Black Dye.
Alocrom 1200 Type 1 Class 1a and Class 3.
Passivation Type 2 and Type 8.
We have a very experienced workforce providing a competitive, comprehensive service and exceptional quality to meet with your requirements.
Some of the projects we are already involved with are; Eurofighter; Boeing 787 Dreamliner; and Airbus A380, A350 and A320.

Continuous Improvement and On-going Investment
Lipco , have now implemented a scheduling system called Preactor, which works hand in hand with our MRP system , to ensure visibility of start dates, progress and delivery requirement of all orders as they advance through the manufacturing stages.
The Lipco Group is continuously expanding and re-investing in our facilities, equipment and our highly skilled workforce. Private investors have invested several million pounds on new machinery and equipment over the past 5 years. We have developed a new customer base specifically for our New Product Introduction (NPI) state-of-the-art facility based in Dorset. This NPI manufacturing unit is a separate entity to our established, regular work.
