Liquid Merit's project Liquid Learning is a democratic open forum which engage institutions, tutors and learners and facilitate open education for all. The forum is powered by blockchain and operates through an education token-Liquid Merit token (LMT). The purpose of the forum is to achieve the equal opportunity of education for all and reach the sustainable goal #4 of the United Nation. Liquid Merit Token (LMT) Liquid Merit Technology is a blockchain based forum and ecosystem that enables efficient peer-to-peer online education which targets to achieve this sustainable development goal #4 of United Nation. The forum operates through the use of liquid merit tokens (LMT), which are ERC-20 tokens, are used for running online courses, issuance of certificates, transcripts and creation of blockchain ID. Liquid Merit can design and run reward schemes that uses digital currencies and vouchers. Further, these coins are transparent, auditable and tradable for goods and services in Liquid Merit forum. The coins used are an ERC -20 token so that it can operate as Trust Management Systems among individuals and organisations. Trust Management is an area of information technology that aims to improve the operation of open distributed systems behavior of their users. When applied to users, Trust Management methods attempt to leverage the human capacity for social trust or distrust.
