In 2009, Jami Jones opened Longhouse Inventory Solutions with a single product: child safety seats. Her goal was to supply the rental car industry with one of the most important pieces of safety equipment on the road, and began by targeting and acquiring the business of the top rental car company in the world, Enterprise. Since inception, LIS has grown to include dozens of products, including cleaning and sanitation supplies, car wash equipment, chemicals, and janitorial supplies.
