Hi there! We are LIT NE, we stand for LGBTQ+ In Tech North East. Our aim? To create a safe space for the technically diverse. We believe that the world of technology lacks diversity and we hope that by creating a safe and supportive network of individuals, we can help to tackle the challenges presented to us within the North East tech circle. Open innovation and creating new and wonderful ideas all start with having a diverse team with one voice. We hope that by creating this network we can bring together both LGBTQ+ individuals in technology, those wanting to get into technology and all allies of the LGBTQ+ community. Our events are open to all and no one should ever feel as though they are unwelcome within our society.
