Literary Mama is a bimonthly publication that features writing by mother writers about the complexities and many faces of motherhood. We seek top-notch creative writing: fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction. We also publish columns, book reviews, profiles of mother writers and artists, guest blog posts, and original photography to complement our content.
We function as a collective of volunteer editors and columnists. The magazine was launched in California, but our staff are now located across the United States as well as in Canada and Israel. Our writers hail from all corners of the world.
