About Little Beaks Little Beaks is a registered non-profit sanctuary and advocacy organisation based in Perth, Australia. We provide lifelong care for small pet birds — including those with special needs — who have been abandoned, surrendered, or deemed “unsellable.” Founded to challenge the hidden suffering in the pet bird trade, we offer more than rescue. At Little Beaks, we create space for healing, flock connection, and freedom from commercial expectations. We do not rehome or adopt out. Every bird here is safe for life. Alongside sanctuary care, we work to raise public awareness about ethical bird ownership, campaign for better legislative protections, and share educational content with a fast-growing online community of 180,000+ people.
