Little Explorers Forest School

Little Explorers Forest School is a unique 54-place nursery nestled within the 450-acre picturesque grounds of historic Broomfield Hall on Derby College’s land-based campus in Morley. We provide outstanding care and nature-based education for children from three months to five years, as recognised by Ofsted, who rate us ‘Outstanding’ across all aspects of our work. Rooted in the belief that all children deserve quality care and education in a safe, well-organised, and inspiring environment, Little Explorers offers a diverse range of indoor and outdoor experiences. Our team of qualified, experienced, and passionate staff support children’s growth through nature-centred exploration, fostering curiosity and confidence. As a dedicated Forest and Nature Education Training Hub, we also empower educators through immersive forest school training, ensuring they are well-equipped to inspire the next generation of nature explorers.
